Assam: 90 per cent areas of Kaziranga submerged by flood waters, 11 animals die

Guwahati, July 15 (IBNS): Around 90 per cent of the Kaziranga National Park and its 158 camps have been submerged by the flood waters,officials said.

Guwahati, June 15 (IBNS): The current Assam flood situation worsened while flood waters inundated more areas affecting over 3.86 lakh people in 8 districts ai, Karbi Anglong West, Karbi Anglong East, Golaghat, Hojai, Biswanath and Cachar district are affected in the current flood.

Assam fresh flood: Four people feared dead

Guwahati, Apr 3 (IBNS) : At least four people are feared dead while hundreds of houses and properties damaged as thunderstorm and heavy rains lashed the state over the past few days.
