Guwahati, July 25 (IBNS): After devastating flood hit 29 districts out of 33 of Assam and affecting over 25 lakh people, the BJP-led state government on Tuesday sought Rs 2939 crore assistance from the Centre to carry out repair works of infrastructure, embankments, roads, bridges, culverts etc damaged in the current wave flood in the state.
