Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's once-a-trusted lieutenant Suvendu Adhikari's gradual stepping down from various portfolios has raised speculations over his exit from the Trinamool Congress.
Kolkata/IBNS: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has called a meeting of senior party leaders at her Kalighat residence here this evening. The meeting has been called after rebel TMC leader Suvendu Adhikari resigned as West Bengal Transport Minister and the Chairman of the Hooghly River Bridge Commissioners (HRBC).
Kolkata/IBNS: Even as the speculations are rife that heavy weight Trinamool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari may quit the party membership after he resigned from ministership on Friday, senior party leader and MP Sougata Roy said all hopes were not lost till Adhikari continues to be in TMC.
