Bengaluru, Nov 3 (IBNS) : Patients experienced a tough time as about 40,000 private hospitals and clinics remained closed across Karnataka on Friday as private doctors went on a strike protesting against the state Government's  proposed amendments to a medical bill which gives the state more power to have control over their functioning.

Bengaluru, June 16 (IBNS) : More than 1,500 doctors from across Karnataka hit the street of Bengaluru on Friday protesting the proposed law to regulate private practice and the operation of private hospitals in the state, media reports said.
