Nirbhaya gangrape case: All four convicts executed
New Delhi/IBNS: Seven years after Nirbhaya was brutally gangraped and murdered in the national capital, leaving the country shocked and triggering series of protests demanding justice for her, all the four convicts in the 2012 case were executed at Tihar Jail in New Delhi on Friday.
New Delhi/UNI: Asha Devi, the mother of the 2012 Delhi gangrape convict, on Wednesday broke down in front of the media, after a Delhi Court adjourned the hearing of Tihar Jail's plea seeking fresh death warrant against the four convicts in the Nirbhaya case.

New Delhi/IBNS: As President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday rejected the mercy plea of Mukesh Singh, who is one of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang-rape case, the victim's parents welcomed the verdict and urged authorities to ensure that the convicts are executed on Jan 22.
