Rain washes away first day of India-Eng Lord's Test

London, Aug 10 (IBNS): Rain washed away the play of the first day of the second Test match between India and England at Lord's here on Thursday.

The match will begin on Friday if the weather improves.

This is the second Test in a five-match bilateral series.

India are trailing England in the series 0-1.

England won the first Test match in Birmingham by 31 runs.
