Rafael Nadal maintains top position in ATP rankings list

Madrid, May 7 (IBNS): Spain's Rafael Nadal topped the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world singles rankings list released on Monday.

The Spanish player topped the chart with 8,770 points.

Like previous week, Swiss master Roger Federer stood in the second position with  8,670 points.

Only one major change could be seen in the list with  Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov moving up to the fourth spot with  4,950.

Croatia's  Marin Cilic moved a step downward to stand at fifth spot with  4,780 points.

Top 10 players are given below:

Rafael Nadal (Spain) 8,770 Points

2. Roger Federer (Switzerland) 8,670

3. Alexander Zverev (Germany) 5,195

4. Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) 4,950

5. Marin Cilic (Croatia) 4,780

6. Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina) 4,470

7. Dominic Thiem (Austria) 3,545

8. Kevin Anderson (South Africa) 3,345

9. John Isner (US) 3,125

10. David Goffin (Belgium) 3,020.
