Gold Coast, Apr 14 (IBNS): Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Sharath Kamal of India settled for silver medal after the Men's Doubles Gold Medal Match of the Commonwealth Games here on Saturday.

They were defeated by England's Paul Drinkhall and Liam Pitchford in the final.

The Indian duo were defeated in the final by 5-11 12-10 11-9 6-11 8-11.

India are currently in the third spot in the medal's tally with 25 golds.

Australia tops the chart with 74 gold medals.

England lies in the second spot with 42 golds.
