London, June 17 (IBNS): Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Amir is fit to play the Champions Trophy final on Sunday against India, team officials said.

"Amir is fit to play and will play," Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur confirmed to media.

Amir suffered a back injury in the practice session ahead of their semi final match against England.

Eventually he was replaced by Rumman Raees.

Pakistan received a crushing defeat against India in their inaugural match of the tournament.

However, the men in green pulled things back since then to reach the final of the Champions Trophy.

The defending champion India will take on Pakistan in the final encounter of the tournament, on Sunday.
