Nadal survives Alexander Zverev's challenge to reach Australian Open round 4

Melbourne, Jan 21 (IBNS): Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal on Saturday survived a scare during his Australian Open single match against rising star Alexander Zverev.

Nadal defeated his opponent 4-6 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 6-2.

The match lasted for  four hours and six minutes.

He will now face  Gael Monfils of France in the next round.

Monfils defeated German Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 to set a date with Nadal.
