Indore, Oct 11 (IBNS) : Facing a challenge to save the match, New Zealand were in a scare as they scored 38 for the loss of one wicket at tea on the fourth day of the third and final cricket test match against India at the Holkar Stadium.

After opener Tom Latham (6) was dismissed by Indian pacer Umesh Yadav at the team's score of seven, his partner Martin Guptil and skipper  Ken Wiliamsson were at the crease at tea  respectively with eight and 23 having to face an uphill task to save the team from a total whitewash.

Earlier,  India set a target of 475 runs for the Kiwis as they declared the second innings at 216 for 3 wickets just an hour after lunch.

This gives India almost four-and-a-half sessions and a minimum of 135 overs to bowl the Kiwis out and sweep the series 3-0.
