Ipoh, Apr 15 (IBNS): India cruised to the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup by beating Malaysia 6-1 here on Friday.

India needed a strong victory against Malaysia to reached the final and dash New Zealand 's hopes of cruising to the main event.

Malaysia will now face New Zealand for bronze medal.

Nikkin Thimmiah, Harjeet Singh, Danish Mujtaba and Talwinder Singh scored a single goal while Ramandeep Singh hit the net twice to make India grab a seat into the final.

Shahril Saabah scored the only goal for Malaysia in the 46th minute which reduced the victory margin for India.
