Three-way tie for lead at Delhi NCR Cup
Jaibir Singh was fourth at 2-over 74 while as many as six players - Anant Ahlawat, Yuvraj Sandhu, Viren Thapar, Shubham Narian, Manav Bais and Tapendra Ghai were tied for the fifth spot at 3-over 75.
After a good start, Gagan made consecutive bogeys on the second and third before making his first birdie of the day on the par-4 fourth and added one more on the eighth before making one more bogey just before the turn. A bogey on the 11th and a birdie on the 13th saw the lanky golfer finish his back nine on a keen level.
Arjun meanwhile made a birdie on the second while losing the advantage on the seventh to turn in at 36. Consecutive bogeys welcomed Arjun on the back nine but he shot one back with a birdie on the 14th to finish at 73.
Aalap had a lone bogey on the fourth while making steady pars on the rest of the eight holes of his front nine. A birdie on the 10th and a bogey on the 16th saw the youngster sign in a card of 73.
Amongst the international players, Stephen Machin from the Royal Troon Golf Club, Scotland was the best with a total of 76.
