Corporate honchos, senior bureaucrats to take part in 4th Corporate Bridge Championship

New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS) Corporate honchos, senior bureaucrats and notable personalities of the society will stake their claim for the top honours in the Shree Cement Conglomerate sponsored 4th Corporate Bridge Championship to be held at hotel Taj Man Singh here from Aug 8, according to Secretary of Corporate Bridge Association Debasish Roy on Thursday.

The  competition in this meet will be restricted to Pairs event only. 

Participants in the  day- long popular bridge meet,  where regular bridge players are not allowed to play, will have a scrambled Mitchell  movement with barometer scoring. 

There would be deal by deal live broadcasting  of the event worldwide on BBO site.

Beside Chairman of HDFC  Deepak Parekh, who is also the President of Corporate Bridge Association, Secretary Heavy Industries, Government of India, S Sundereshan, Union  Finance Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Civil Aviation  Secretary Aloke Sinha, Chairman of Navayuga Group C V Rao,  Shree Cement Managing Director H M Bangur, M K M Group  Chairman M K Modi, Chairperson of HCL Group of Companies Kiran Nadar and  Managing Director of Asgar Paints and President of Bridge Federation of India  N R K Moorthy, other notable personalities to  join this championship  include  Industrialist B K Modi,  Chairman of Dhampur  Sugar  Vijay Goel,  CSIR Scientist Jayabrata Sengupta, Major General H S Nanda, Major General Ramnath , Arun Jain and Rita Choksi.
