Kolkata, July 23 (IBNS) Season 2 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi has promised to create a place of pride for the National Anthem, something that is unique only to Star Sports Pro Kabaddi itself.

By playing host to eminent personalities, local musicians and bands to deliver the anthem, Star Sports Pro Kabaddi hopes to capture the essence of kabaddi as a truly Indian sport through special recitations of the National Anthem every day of the tournament.

To continue the tradition of creating a special place for the National Anthem in Star Sports Pro Kabaddi, famous Bengali actress Koel Mallick recited the National Anthem on Day 6 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi before the Bengal Warriors and Telugu Titans match.

When being asked about her participation in this prestigious event, she said, "It is so wonderful to see how Star Sports Pro Kabaddi has revived this sport that all of us have played when we were kids and have fond memories of. I am extremely proud and elated to be singing the National Anthem here in Kolkata as part of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi."
