Kolkata: Amway 65th State Athletic Championship concludes
Like Last year, This year too Amway India, the largest Direct Selling FMCG Company joined hands with the prestigious West Bengal Athletic Association (WBAA).
Amway India strengthened the partnership by announcing the annual sponsorship for the Bengal Athletic Team for the year 2015-16. The state athletic meet this year has registered 9 new meet records.
Speaking on Amway India’s association, Diptarag Bhattacharjee, Vice President, Eastern Region, Amway India, said, “We are delighted to renew our association with the West Bengal Athletic Association for the third time and present the Amway 65th State Athletic Championship. We have further expanded our relationship by continuing our annual sponsorship for the West Bengal Athletic team for West Bengal Athletic Association for the second year 2015-2016. Lastly, I want to thank all athletes who have participated in 65th Amway State Athletic Championship 2015 braving the sweltering heat and displayed exemplary sporting feats.”
Speaking on the occasion, Diptarag Bhattacharjee, Vice President, Eastern Region, Amway India said, “We hope our association with West Bengal Athletic Team will encourage young athletes from West Bengal to excel at the national as well as the international level. We are glad to support the state athletic team who would represent the state in China for Asian Championship in June this year under the stewardship of Shri Prasun Mukherjee, president, WBAA. We hope our association with West Bengal Athletic Association would also go a long way. Amway always had supported different sporting events like Amway Darjeeling Police Marathon,State Ranking Tennis Tournament in AP, Andaman Marathon, Health Run and cyclothon.
