Deepika Padukone opts for Sabyasachi's glittering saree at BAFTA 2024

London/IBNS: Bollywood superstar and global icon Deepika Padukone was one of the top celebrities from across the world to feature as a presenter at the BAFTA Film Awards 2024 at the Royal Festival Hall in London on February 18.

While she rocked the Oscars last year in a gown, Deepika opted for a saree by India's celebrity fashion designer Sabyasachi on Sunday.

Deepika walked the red carpet wearing a glittering saree with a sleeveless blouse and headed to the hall to present the award.

A post by Sabyasachi's official handle reads, "Deepika Padukone in a Sabyasachi couture sari and custom jewellery at the 77th BAFTA Awards in London."

Deepika presented director Jonathan Glazer with the award for Best Film Not in the English Language category for the film The Zone Of Interest.

Stylist Shaleena Nathani posted a picture of Deepika on Instagram saying, "Tonight at the BAFTAS !!!"

As a presenter, Deepika joined the celebrities like football icon David Beckham, actress Cate Blanchett, Emily in Paris fame Lily Collins, The Crown's Emma Corrin, popular singer Dua Lipa.

In 2023, Deepika had presented the performance of 'RRR' song Naatu Naatu at the Oscars.

Naatu Naatu went on to win the 95th Academy Awards in the Best Original Song category.
