Narendra Modi shares warm and positive discussions with Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck

Indian PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he had a warm and positive discussion on various facets of the unique and exemplary India-Bhutan relationship during his meeting with Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in Delhi.

"Pleasure to welcome His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk to India. We had very warm and positive discussions on various facets of the unique and exemplary India-Bhutan relationship. Deeply value His Majesty’s vision for the development and well-being of the friendly people of Bhutan," Modi tweeted.

Wangchuck, accompanied by senior officials of the Royal Government of Bhutan, will be on an official visit to India from November 3-10.

The King earlier visited Assam as a part of his India tour.
