NDTV journalist Kamal Khan dies of heart attack

Lucknow/UNI: Renowned TV reporter Kamal Khan died after a massive heart attack on early Friday morning.

He was 61.

Family members said Kamal complained of chest pain at around 4 am and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought-dead.

Khan was associated with NDTV for the past several years and was known for his reporting skills on different issues.

He is survived by his wife and a son. His wife, Ruchi Kumar, is also a journalist with India TV.

His burial will take place at the Aishbagh burial ground in the evening.

UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, BSP president Mayawati and UP Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu have expressed their grief over the sudden demise of Kamal Khan.
