Theni, Apr 13 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said Congress President Rahul Gandhi is not acceptable as a Prime Ministerial candidate by his own alliance leaders as all of them aspire for the post.

Addressing an election rally here as part of the AIADMK-BJP led front, he said some days ago DMK President M K Stalin projected the “Naamdaar” as Prime Minister.

'But, no one was ready to accept it. Not even their “Maha Milawati” friends, because they all want to be Prime Minister', he added.

Stating that the Congress, DMK and their other Maha Milawati friends could never work for India’s development, Modi had a dig at former Union Minister P Chidambaram and said 'what all have we been witness to is “father become the Finance Minister and son (Karti Chidambaram) loots the country.'

'Whenever they are in government, they always loot', he charged.

“All the corrupt have ganged up in an attempt to defeat me,” he said.

Modi said the Congress and dishonesty were best friends but sometimes, by mistake they end up speaking the truth.

'Now they are saying “Ab Hoga Nyay” or now there shall be justice. Even if they did not intend to, they have admitted that all they have done so far is “Anyay” (injustice)', he said.

Accusing Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath of diverting money meant for poor for election campaigns, the Prime Minister the Madhya Pradesh government has become their ATM. 'They are diverting money meant for the poor and the children for use in the election.'

'This has become known as the “Tughlak Road Scandal', he said and added that the nation knows which Congress leader stays on Tughlak Road in New Delhi'.
