Harivansh Narayan Singh wins Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman election
New Delhi, Aug 9 (IBNS): National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Harivansh Narayan Singh won the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman election on Thursday.
Singh, who belongs to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United), got the support of 125 members.
Opposition candidate BK Hariprasad, who belongs to the Congress, could manage to get 105 votes.
