PM and others greet people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai Juhar

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, Aug 26 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many others have greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai Juhar.

“Nuakhai Juhar! Good wishes to Odia friends on the festival of Nuakhai. May this festival bring happiness and prosperity in everyone’s lives," the Prime Minister said.

Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik also greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Nuakhai Juhar, an agricultural festival, especially followed in the western part of the state,

Tweeted BJP president Amit Shah, "Greetings to our brothers & sisters of Odisha on the auspicious occasion of Nuakhai. May Maa Samaleswari bless us with peace & prosperity."

"Greetings to all brothers and sisters from Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai ," tweeted Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on the Office of RG handle, on Saturday.

Chief Minister of neighbouring state Chhattisgarh tweeted, "Greetings to my Odia brothers and sisters on the auspicious occasion of Nuakhai. May this festival bring peace and prosperity in your lives."

Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik createda beautiful sand art on the Puri beach to celebrate the occasion and tweeted, "May Maa Samaleswari bless all for peace and prosperity. My SandArt #NuakhaiJuhar for the harvest festival of western Odisha."
