Monia Lamarche to perform in Kolkata

Kolkata Feb 19 (IBNS) Taj Bengal is all set to bring singer Monia Lamarche, live in Kolkata.

The Jazz singer would perform from Tuesday to Saturday at 9pm at The Junction, Taj Bengal in the coming few months.

Monia was born in Montreal, in a Canadian French speaking family and realized she wanted to become a professional artist when she was at University. 

She had earned a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal, and finished her last semester at the Canadian University Center in Berlin, Germany.

Monia has recently read the Siva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi and she feels it is nothing but a coincidence that she got the opportunity to perform in the same city, Kolkata, which is the author’s birth place.

The singer feels blessed to have performed in 1,400 shows in 8 countries and is equally excited and looking forward to perform at The Junction, Taj Bengal, Kolkata.
