National Convention for CA Students held in Kolkata

Kolkata, July 22 (IBNS): Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) jointly with Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (EICASA) under the aegis of Board of Studies, ICAI recently organized a Two Day National Convention for CA Students on the theme ‘Aashayein - The Glimpse of a Better Tomorrow’ at Centenary Auditorium of College Street Campus of the University of Calcutta.

The Chief Guest of the event was  West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi CA.Nilesh Vikamsey, Vice-President, ICAI who inaugurated the National Convention for CA Students & the list of Guests of Honour included eminent personalities like CA Anirban Datta, Convention Coordinator & Chairman, EIRC; CA Manish Goyal, Convention Coordinator & Vice-Chairman, EIRC & Chairman, EICASA; CA. Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, Chairman, Board of Studies, CA. Dhiraj Kumar Khandelwal, Vice Chairman, BOS; CA. Debashis Mitra, CCM & Member BOS; CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, CCM & Member BOS; CA. Sushil Kumar Goyal, CCM & Member BOS & others.

The Convention provided an opportunity for Chartered Accountants students across the country to meet and discuss matters of their interest as C.A. students.  

While addressing the students  Keshari Nath Tripathi,  said “The   Theme  AASHAYEIN: THE GLIMPSE OF A BETTERTOMORROW  reflects the future expectations of the students in their lives and also it would help them to have a good future."

 Speaking to the media, CA Anirban Datta, Chairman, EIRC said, “Chartered Accountancy profession cannot achieve great heights being only academically good; overall personality development is the essence for a shining future and it is very important that they brush up their communication and presentation skills as well.”
