Singapore's Serangoon celebrates Durga Puja

Serangoon, Oct 14 (IBNS): The Bengali community in Singapore revelled in the festive spirit of Durga Puja, as it was observed amid much fanfare.

{image_1}The Durga Puja is the grandest of all celebrations for this festive-happy community.

The Serangoon Road Puja witnessed an average footfall of 700 people during the four days.

{image_2}Keeping true to the traditions, 'Kumari Pujo' was performed on Maha Astami, the second day of the Puja.
