Pallekele Test: India need six more wickets to win against Sri Lanka

Pallekele, Aug 14 (IBNS): Sri Lanka were reduced to 82/4 in the second innings at lunch on Day 3 as India need six more wickets to win the third test match.

Sri Lanka are still trailing India's first innings total of 487 by 270 runs, as they were forced to follow-on by the visitors.

Presently, captain Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews, are carrying on the fight for Sri Lanka as the Indian bowlers are on top of the game.

In the second innings of Sri Lanka, Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has picked up two wickets so far.

Replying to India's 487 runs, Sri Lanka  collapsed with just 135 in the first innings.

India have already won the test series 2-0.
