State Bank of India surges 13.87 pc to Rs 242.25

Mumbai/UNI: State Bank of India on Friday rallied by 13.87 pc to Rs 242.25 to be the top gainers in the 30 scrips index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Other gainers were Tata Steel by 13.48 pc to Rs 325.45, HDFC by 10.33 pc

to Rs 2068.50, Sun Pharma by 8.34 pc to Rs 384.45 and Bajaj Finance by 5.92 pc to Rs 3955.35.

The losers were Nestle India by 4.12 pc to Rs 11,975.80, Asian Paints by 2.35 pc to Rs 1799.55, Hind Unilever by 1.27 pc to Rs 2033.20 and HeroMoto Corp by 0.83 pc to Rs 1888.60.
