UN chief 'deeply saddened' by loss of life in Afghanistan avalanches

New York, Feb 27 (IBNS) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he is deeply saddened by the loss of life in Afghanistan as a result of avalanches, landslides and floods in the northern part of the country including in the Kabul, Parwan, Panjsher, Kapisa, Badakhshan and Nuristan provinces.
