It's time to put America First, says Donald Trump at Infrastructure Summit

Washington, Jun 10 (IBNS): American President Donald Trump reiterated his 'America First' stance and said it's time for his country to incorporate its own people in various jobs, while using its own resources.

"It is time to rebuild OUR country, to bring back OUR jobs, to restore OUR dreams, & yes, to put #AmericaFirst! TY Ohio! #InfrastructureWeek," his tweet read.

In another tweet, Trump wrote, "Time to start building in our country, with American workers & with American iron, aluminum & steel. It is time to put #AmericaFirst."

The US President, who remained adamant and pulled out of the Paris Accord a week ago, had stated that it was his solemn duty to protect Americans first.

"Therefore, in order to fulfill my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord," Trump's statement read.

The move invited scathing criticism from all corners of the world, with some suggesting that the US President is out of touch with reality.

Trump however has been floating hastags of 'Make America Great Again' and 'America First' on Twitter, from his campaign days.
