Afghanistan: Gunmen kidnap 20 civilians

Kabul, Nov 21 (IBNS) Gunmen have taken 20 civilians as hostage in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan, media reports said.

Ghulam Jailani Farahi, the provinces Deputy Police Chief was quoted as saying by Khaama Press that the kidnapping took place between Shah Joy District and Qalat, the provincial capital, this morning.

Armed men reportedly took the civilians out of the buses in which they were traveling and moved them to undisclosed locations.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
