Japanese national shot dead in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Oct 3 (IBNS): Unknown miscreants have shot dead a Japanese national in Rangpur district of Bangladesh, media reports said on Saturday.
Unknown assailants on a motorcycle fired at the national, reports said.
The incident occurred at around 11 am.
The Japanese national died at the spot of the mishap.
Kawnia police OC Rezaul Karim was quoted as saying by bdnews24.com: "“Koniyo was walking when the assailants riding a motorcycle fired at him. He was shot in the chest, shoulder and hand.”
The deceased has been identified as Hosi Koniyo.
