Pakistan: Students protest against absence of teachers in government-run college

India Blooms News Service | @indiablooms | 26 Aug 2023, 10:32 am

Hundreds of girls in a Pakistani government-run college in Balochistan demonstrated for the past two days against the absence of teachers for several months.

The absence of teachers has made the institution non-functional.

Students were seen holding placards and banners as they protested against the teachers over their absenteeism.

“Despite protesting for the past two days, no representative from the education department or local administration has appeared to address our concerns,” a student told Dawn on condition of anonymity.
