Torkham, Afghanistan: The Pakistan Customs authorities have foiled a bid to smuggle arms from Afghanistan at the Torkham border crossing, media reports said on Monday.
Pakistani officials told The News International they recovered five US-made pistols, one Turkish pistol and thousands of bullet rounds from its hidden cavities.
They said the truck driver has been arrested.
