Dhaka, May 29: A Chinese national has hacked and injured two Bangladeshi youths working on the Dhaka-Mawa railway project in Keraniganj near Dhaka. The incident took place in the dormitory of the Konda office of the project around 8 pm on Thursday.

The injured are project workers Abdullah (26) and Haider (27).

The name of the accused Chinese citizen is Wang.

He is working as a foreman in Dhaka-Mawa railway project. Complaints of the injured are paid by the workers.

On Friday they went to Wang in the dormitory to bring the salary. At this time he wants to pay them less than the total salary.

When they got into a fight, Wang stabbed Abdullah.

When Abdullah tried to stop him with his hand, 3 fingers of his right hand were cut off.

When Haider tried to stop him, Wang beat him with a knife.

There is a blow to the back below his shoulders.

Upon receiving the news, the police rescued them and admitted them to the hospital. South Keraniganj Police Station OC Abul Kalam Azad said, "I have heard about the incident. However, no written complaint has been received from the injured yet. Necessary action will be taken in case of complaint."
