Pakistan reports 118 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hours

Islamabad: Pakistan reported 118 deaths related to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, marking the highest-single-day hike in the fatality numbers this year, media reports said on Tuesday.

The country had recorded 123 deaths due to the virus on  June 25, 2020.

The highest number of deaths during the last 24 hours were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which recorded 74 fatalities, reports Dawn News.

Pakistan has so far reported 15,619 Covid-19 deaths.
