Islamabad, July 22 (IBNS): Pakistan PM Imran Khan faced social media trolls after reports emerged that he received no official welcome of the kind reserved for foreign heads of states after he arrived in the United States on Saturday.

Khan was welcomed at the airport by Pakistani foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and a large number of Pakistani Americans, media reports said.

Khan, who is on his maiden US trip since becoming the PM, will meet US President Donald Trump on Monday.

Social media users trolled Imran Khan over the issue.
