Afghanistan: Coordinated attack hits Police Headquarters in Baghlan province

Kabul, May 5 (IBNS): A number of  armed militants launched a coordinated attack on the police headquarters in Afghanistan's  Pul-e-Khumri city on Sunday, media reports said.

A provincial council member confirmed that a suicide bomber detonated his explosives close to the Police Headquarters of Baghlan and three others intruded into the compound sparking a heavy clash which still continues between the assailants and security forces, reported Khaama Press.

No casualty has been reported so far.

The type of explosion is also not known.
