Pakistan: Justice Sardar Raza Khan appointed as CEC

Islamabad, Dec 4 (IBNS): Pakistan has appointed Justice Sardar Raza Khan as the the permanent Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), media reports said on Thursday.

"President Mamnoon Hussain accorded approval to the above appointment on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif," Geo TV reported quoting sources.

Khan had retired as the judge of the Supreme Court in 2011.
