Afghanistan: NATO Resolute Support Service member killed in Herat province

Kabul, Oct 23 (IBNS): The NATO-led Resolute Support mission service member was killed in Herat province of Afghanistan, officials said on Tuesday.

Two other Resolute Support service members were wounded in the incident.

"Initial reports indicate the attack was committed by a member of the Afghan security forces," read a statement issued by the NATO led Resolute Support mission.

"Further details will be shared after the appropriate national authorities have followed their processes for releasing information," it said.
