Afghanistan: BBC Pashto journalist killed by unknown gunmen in Khost province

Kabul, May 1 (IBNS): Unknown gunmen shot dead a BBC Pashto reporter in Khost province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Tuesday.

The reporter was identified as Ahmad Shah.

According to reports, the gunmen were travelling on a motorcycle when they attacked the journalist.

Ahmad Shah was killed in Khost city while he was on his way home, journalists told Tolo News.

The journalist had joined BBC a year ago, reports said.

He was based in Khost.
