Peshawar, Apr 16 (IBNS):The Paksitan Taliban on Wednesday refused to extend their 40-day long ceasefire , media reports said.
Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) said the government did not respond to their demands positively.
The TTP on Mar 1 declared a month-long ceasefire. It was later extended for 10 days which expired on Apr 10.
TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid was quoted as saying in a statement by Dawn News: "These were concrete steps for building confidence and defusing the tension."
