Afghanistan: Five Taliban insurgents killed in US airstrike
Kabul, Jul 21 (IBNS): At least five Taliban insurgents were killed in an airstrike conducted by the US forces in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, local Khaama Press reported.
The raid was was conducted on Wednesday night using a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
At least 10 insurgents were injured in the airstrike.
A statement from the provincial government added that the local and the army did not suffer any casualty.
The Taliban has not issued a statement on the news as of yet.
