London, July 15 (IBNS): British Foreign Secretary William Hague announced his resignation on Monday.
Hague was UK's most senior diplomat for the past four years.
He was a former leader of UK Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservative party.
Hague stepped down from his position with immediate effect to take up a more junior ministerial post, reports said.
