Ankara, Aug 26 (IBNS): At least eight police officials were reported dead after a large car bomb hit a riot police headquarters in Cizre, south-east Turkey, media reports said.
The explosion took place at 7 am local time on Friday.
Though it is unclear who carried out the attack, the Turkish media blamed the Kurdistan Workers Party, PKK.
The PKK is a designated terrorist outfit by Turkey, the European Union and the United States of America.
