New York, June 9 (Just Earth News):United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned on Wedesday's terrorist attack in Tel Aviv in which Palestinian assailants killed at least four Israelis and injured four others.

In a statement from his spokesperson, the Secretary-General conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and the Government of Israel.

“There is no justification for terrorism nor for the glorification of those who commit such heinous acts,”  Ban underscored, adding that he was shocked that the leaders of Hamas have chosen to welcome this attack and some to celebrate it.

He called upon the Palestinian leadership “to live up to their responsibility to stand firmly against violence and the incitement that fuels it.”
