Washington, June 19 (IBNS): US President Barack Obama on Thursday said the country's combat troops will not fight in Iraq.

" The United States will not pursue military options that support one sect inside of Iraq at the expense of another," The White House tweeted quoting Obama.

"American combat troops are not going to be fighting in Iraq again," he said.

The Iraqi government forces are fighting against the militants led by the jihadist Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) for control of the  oilrefinery in Baiji, reports said.
