Seoul, Apr 19 (IBNS): The death toll in the ferry sinking tragedy in South Korea on Wednesday touched 32 on Saturday, media reports said.

Rescue efforts to find out those missing continued for the fourth day.

"Some 652 Navy and Coast Guard officers, along with civilian divers, have been battling strong underwater currents and low visibility to reach 273 people believed to be trapped inside the ferry Sewol that sank three days ago," Yonhap news agency said.

Officials have meanwhile arrested and formally charged the captain of the ferry.
