London, Nov 7 (IBNS): At least  21 people, including children, were found stowed inside a refrigerated lorry carrying sparkling water at a British port, media reports said on Wednesday.

The group, thought to be from Vietnam, were concealed among a load of sparkling water at the port of Newhaven in Sussex on Thursday, reported BBC.

An investigation into the matter is currently going on.

As per a BBC reported, a Romanian man, believed to be the driver, has been charged with assisting unlawful entry into the UK.

The recovered children have been  transferred to the care of social services.

Two, out of the six adults, were removed from the UK while the other four people were sent to immigration detention centres, reports said.

Their cases are being assessed by officials.
