Fire in Guatemala children's home leaves 22 dead

Guatemala City, Mar 9 (IBNS): Fire at a government-run shelter in Guatemala killed 22 girls while dozens are being treated for burns, according to media reports on Thursday.

Reportedly, the overcrowded shelter for abused teenagers caught fire on Wednesday following rioting, media reported quoting police sources.

The shelter is located about 25 km from capital Guatemala City.
