Maha Shivratri 2018: Devotees throng temples to offer prayers

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Devotees all across the nation celebrated the Maha Shivratri, by offering their prayers at various temples on Tuesday. The devotees thronged temples in huge numbers and participated in aarti performed by priests. The devotees also sang religious hymns. Devotees in thousands lined up to get a glimpse of Shivling and seek his blessings on Maha Shivratri. While Shivratri comes once every month, Maha Shivratri also known as ‘great night of lord Shiva’ comes once in a year, just before the arrival of Spring season in the month of February or March.
